"Snapchat has a lot of creative possibilities!! A lot of times I try and do things that are ironic or realistic with a touch of unrealistic. Usually if I see something funny, I just take a pic of it. Then I will look at the pic and think what could I draw hear to make this picture even better!?"

Meet Dasha, a very talented Snapchat artist. She is the first artist I followed on Snapchat and her creative art inspired me to make Snapchat doodles of my own. Her Snapchats have been featured on many sites and she's one of the top viral Snapchat artists. For me, Snapchat art and doodling is about taking mundane or everyday subject matter and adding interesting, clever, and spontaneous artistic twists. Be it visual commentary on current events or random artistic musings, Snapchat art should inspire a reaction from viewers ... even if it's just for a few short seconds :)

I enjoy creating snaps that will make people smile, laugh, and make their day better. I like being able to draw anything on a picture or video in order to make the snaps funny and interesting. I like to make snaps that insert myself into my favorite fandoms (Harry Potter / Doctor Who) or pop culture moments that will get people to laugh. Sometimes they are quick and sour of the moment, other times I spend hours planning, practicing and executing them. The best part of Snapchat, to me, is having the ability to make art at a moments notice and then out it into my followers hands immediately.
