I work full time as a graphic designer and my client is a huge financial company. Most of team works remotely, so we are on conference calls a lot during the day. I love to doodle during the calls. I feel like it helps me listen more. It used to be on pen and paper (you should see my "doodle wall" at work!) but I got a stylus for my phone and now I love doing it in Snapchat. The colors are simple but work great, and I love the flexibility of it. And I like sharing my random drawings to my friends and followers.

Snapchat started out with limited features, a lack of color variety, and there was even a stroke limitation while drawing more precise drawings. As Snapchat has been updated there are more possibilities artistically speaking, and it is constantly becoming more user friendly. I myself love sketching in my free time, but I can’t always drag my sketch pad and pencils around with me. I do however, have my phone everywhere I go. Because of this it has become another outlet for me to put my drawings out there, and share my passion/life stories with others.

What Emgarber Have to Say About His Snaps

I like to create snaps that are a little more ambitious than the typical selfie. Usually I'll take a spare of the moment picture and then think how I can transform it into a creative and hilarious snap by adding a drawing touch. The best part of Snapchat is that it allows you to connect with your followers in an original way. If my snaps bring a smile to your face and brighten your day, then I call it a success!
